流量主要来源于从服务器传输数据到用户的电脑端，流量的计算是以服务器端计算

节省流量的核心思想是：通过把耗费流量和容量的文件放置于别的服务器上，便能大幅度节省网站服务器的流量，比如，通过将图片文件存放在专业的图片空间上，不仅节省了大量流量和容量，而且备份网站时都不需要备份这些东西！

另外，论坛中帖子中的图片也是相当耗费流量和容量的，对于发帖时想复制其他网页上的图文，我们可以使用这样的工具：http://bbs4us.go3.icpcn.com/，我已经把这个工具放在了论坛中上部的横栏中，不仅不占用流量，而且极大地加快了速度，按几下鼠标就把人家的图片和文字一次性地引用过来了！

对于做论坛的朋友，建议关掉上传图片的功能（包括上传头像），让大家把图片上传到图片空间引用过来就可以了，目前所有的论坛都支持这个功能，不管是发帖还是设置头像。
